What to invest in in 2021?

We're basically at the end of 2020, so it's time to sum it up.

Well, I think it was a difficult year for all of us. But also very fruitful, if only we managed to calm our nerves, gain some distance and use the time to think. For us, the road this year was very bumpy but we are finishing with class! We are implementing our pilot investment project of summer houses in Bojany nad Bugiem and I am really proud of how intensively we are entering the next year.

If you asked me what to invest in in 2021, I would of course answer that it would be summer houses. But I will try to justify it unsentimentally.

Why is it worth investing in summer houses?

1. It is an affordable investment. Our projects start from 199 thousand PLN. Of course, the price depends on the location, the standard of the house, but we try to optimize the projects budget-wise.

2. it is a profitable investment. The average daily rent is from PLN 250-400, which with only seasonal occupancy gives a pretty good passive income.

3. the growing glamping trend. It was supposed to be a seasonal fad but it looks like it's going to stay. The popularity of the Slowhop platform, where there are over 1 million visits to the site per month, shows that Poles love glamping and want to relax in interesting places. We are the 3rd country in the world after the United States and Canada where, according to Google, the word "glamping" was most often searched for.

4. Ecology. Fortunately, customers are becoming more aware of their impact on the environment and are trying to "use less". This means that we strive for greater balance in the consumption of goods as a society and it is not indifferent to us whether we drink in a plastic or glass bottle. In the Domki Marysia project, we strive to make the best possible use of resources: the summer houses are made of ecological materials, we use local contractors to limit the impact on the environment of long-distance transport; at the customer's request, we can install both a heat pump and photovoltaic panels so that the house is almost completely energy independent and "works for itself".

It is therefore worth taking a closer look not only at our projects, comparing apartment rental offers, and, above all, diversifying your investments.
